My wife and I stopped here while on our trip to the 2006 GABF. It's in a old brick building downtown. The interior has lots of woodwork and feels like a classic brewpub. The service was friendly and fast. It's fun to be in one of the brewpubs that was key in starting the craft beer revolution. However, I was somewhat let down by the quality of beer. Sure, everything was good, but I suppose my expectations might have been a bit high for such a legendary place. If stopping in, I recommend the Railyard. I think it's the best beer I tasted here and does live up to Wynkoop's reputation.

Went in around 4:00 with a big party incuding kids. Got a table upstairs which was good. Kids and adults were able to play pool, skee ball and bubble hockey. They had a cask condition ESB that was very good. Ordered the margarita/chilli beer specialty drink as a change of pace, it was not the best drink I ordered. I asked for a couple of other beers off the chalk board, both times the waitress came back and said they had just run out. They were also out of the Rocky Mountain Oyster Sout, a little dissapointing. Settled on a sour beer with merlot which was pretty good. I can see this place being busy at night, especially before a ball game.
