Thanks to DeschutesNut for throwing this in as an extra.
Poured into my SN tulip. Unfiltered. Looks a cloudy light, golden-orange.
Smells different from most IPAs I drink. It doesn't have a very bright hop-nose, it seems a bready, yeasty aroma is more prevalent in the nose than the hops. Perhaps it is earthy hops I'm getting, but I think it's the yeast. Although, I do get some slight citrus and grassy notes. Lemon seems to be the most pronounced as far as hops go.
Taste is almost exactly like the nose. After the first sip it reminds me of a pale-wheat ale, it definitely has a wheat flavor to it which is what I might have been picking up from the nose. I'm getting mostly lemon in the taste, perhaps some other fruits like grapefruit and apricot, but very subtle. Tastes very earthy, bready, malty, wheaty with a slight kiss of lemon. Not very hoppy for an IPA. Maybe it's not very fresh, but it definitely doesn't taste like an IPA that has gone downhill. I would say it's more of a wheat pale-ale.
Mouthfeel and drinkability are great, as this one is very light and very easy to drink for the style.
A solid beer, and something refreshingly different for the style.
-edit- I took off .5 points from mouthfeel category because it lost carbonation for the last few sips even though I didn't swirl it.

Served from the tap
Appears a pale straw golden color, little white head. A soft floral hop aroma, not overly aggressive. Malt tastes like just base malt, neutral. Hop flavor is pleasant, again flowery and a bit of citrus. Lingering aftertaste, thin body.

Something is not to my liking here.
Smell is faintly hoppy, but doesn't ANNOUNCE pale ale.
Taste is where I have problems -- hops taste like celery seed or something vegetal. Light malt sweetness.
It feels like there is something a little oily in there that becomes thin and astringent in the finish.
