A damn nice looking IPA, somewhat hazy, and deep amber in colour. A one finger, tight, pale white head formed on the pour, somewhat decent retention, and managed to leave decent, sticky webs of lace inside my mason jar.
An interesting nose on this one, tangerine, orange marmalade, white grapefruit all from the hops. A nice touch of sweet honey and caramel from the malts that mainly give off a solid biscuit aroma.
Much like the aroma, although the flavours form the malts are somewhat more substantial than what my nose led me to believe. This is a decent, hoppy IPA also has a sturdy malt backbone. Finishes in a touch of resinous pine.
Somewhere between medium and light bodied. Decently persistent finely carbonated brew. Malt to hop balance favours the hops as it should. There is, however, a somewhat astringent quality, unsure if its derived from the grain bill or the hops.
Overall a pretty drinkable brew, suppose it may even be session able to the die hard hopheads out there. An interesting, solid example of the style. Well worth trying, although I probably wouldn't go out of my way to seek this one out.

Served from the tap
Appears a pale straw golden color, little white head. A soft floral hop aroma, not overly aggressive. Malt tastes like just base malt, neutral. Hop flavor is pleasant, again flowery and a bit of citrus. Lingering aftertaste, thin body.
