Falling Rock is a true destination for beer lovers. It's a no-big-deal kind of place from an appearance point of view but that's not why people go there!
The selection of beers on tap is very impressive and includes all sorts of belgians, locals, foreigns, domestics, and specialties.
I found the bartenders to be arrogant bastards but they do know their stuff. In fact, if you ask for a beer menu, they just look away and ask "what do you like?" You say "IPA" and they ask "how hoppy?" Then they pour you something without even asking if it's ok. I sat at the bar and saw this over and over.
At one point, an obvious tourist came in and asked for a stout. The bartender asks if he likes them strong and then pours him a TenFidy. As the tourist walks away, bartender mutters "that'll put him on his ass."
It really is a charming place but don't expect any friendly banter from the staff.

One of the best beer selections in the city - unmissable if you're only in town for a day or two. Very patient, friendly staff. The food is almost entirely freezer-to-fryer, and is largely unimpressive. Fortunately, it's walking distance from a number of quality eateries. Plan accordingly!

Stopped here on my first night in Denver for a friend’s birthday. Huge list of brews on tap and in bottles. Anything from Bruery anniversary beers to Eclipse variants to Gueuze. Make sure to check out the bottle list inside as there are a lot of big rarities on there. Unfrotunately, they had gotten cleaned out after GABF but the bottle list included Hommage, LP Gueuze, LP Kriek, other Cantillon, lots of Bruery beers, etc. If you’re going big, then things get a little pricey (Fruet was $70 a bottle, Cuir was $58). They have Pliny and Blind Pig on tap, but it’s not on the tap list so be sure to check that out. Easily the best beer bar I have ever been to, but bottles really are on the pricey side. Gets busy so make sure to find a seat early. Had a chicken sandwich and it was decent pub food. Definitely recommended.
