Falling Rock is a true destination for beer lovers. It's a no-big-deal kind of place from an appearance point of view but that's not why people go there!
The selection of beers on tap is very impressive and includes all sorts of belgians, locals, foreigns, domestics, and specialties.
I found the bartenders to be arrogant bastards but they do know their stuff. In fact, if you ask for a beer menu, they just look away and ask "what do you like?" You say "IPA" and they ask "how hoppy?" Then they pour you something without even asking if it's ok. I sat at the bar and saw this over and over.
At one point, an obvious tourist came in and asked for a stout. The bartender asks if he likes them strong and then pours him a TenFidy. As the tourist walks away, bartender mutters "that'll put him on his ass."
It really is a charming place but don't expect any friendly banter from the staff.

Excellent selection of Colorado beer, select US taps mostly from the west, and Belgium beers. Largest collection of bottles from around the world I've seen. Very reasonably priced. Knowledgable staff. Great tap house. Highly recommended if visiting Denver. Located centrally to other breweries and restaurants.
