750mL brown glass pry-top high-shoulder bottle. Batch #297.
Pours a amber gold, hazy and with lots of cloud-like bone white head.
Nose: Apricot, mango, white pepper, freshly cut oak boards. It smells like Brett in all its glory.
Palate: Is crisp and tart with lots of woodiness. Mango, white raisins, white pepper, guava, pineapple, hay. Medium-bodied and very tropical as you might have guessed.
Notes: Tastes like a tripel infected with brett and aged with mango puree. The alcohol is undetectable. Love it.

Appearance: Golden yellow, with a touch of haze and very little head.
Aroma: Grainy aroma with a bit of lemon and spice.
Taste & Mouthfeel: Slightly sour lemon flavor initially, with a bit of peppery heat following. Finishes with cereal grains and uncooked pasta flavors, and has a bit of buttery character as well. Some yeasty funk throughout.
Final Word: An interesting drink, but not one that I must have again. My favorite part of the brew was the peppery character, which kept the profile lively and interesting, as the other characteristics, like the tart lemon and yeast, didn’t present anything out of the ordinary. Certainly good, and always worth trying, but I would seek out other Jolly Pumpkin brews first if you are having trouble choosing.
