750 ml capped bottle, served at cellar temperature into a goblet.
Pours a chill hazed, goldenrod body that is awash with lively, small carbonation bubbles. Pillowy, white head is thick and dense, rising about three inches before settling at about two centimeters in height. Retention is excellent, and gorgeous sheet lacing is left to drape the sides of the goblet.
Aroma is truly exceptional. Candied apricots, fresh hay. yeasty notes of clean wool sweater, white pepper, coriander, lemon zest, and a kiss of orange peel.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a velvety medium carbonation.
Taste is complex and challenging. Dry and herbal, with citrus hints of tangerine and lime. Coriander, white pepper, and lemon zest add a soft spiciness. Vanilla and spun candy sugar can be picked up in the background. Yeast is prominent, adding an outdoorsy character of fresh woolen sweater. Apricot and tangerine notes contribute to the complexity, but are minor factors. Very Saison like, overall.
Superlative drinkability. Nice complexity....I could easily mistake this one for a Fantome Saison in a blind taste test. Exceptional product from yet another high quality, American brewery.

750mL into a tulip. Pours a clear golden color w/ a frothy white head, patchy lacing.
Aroma is floral, funky, mildly tart. Some fruity esters from the Belgian yeast. More tart funk and dry oak comes in as it warms.
The beer hits my palate with a slightly metallic twang. Lemony with a touch of crushed aspirin. Pale malt, slightly funky Belgian yeast, Old World hops give it a floral bitterness.
Mouthfeel is balanced and medium to full bodied. Finishes pretty dry. Good carbonation.
Overall a pretty nice Belgian, but maybe not quite as clean as I'd like.
