Pours crystal clear deep orange with a creamy white tan head. Bubbles consistently rushing towards the top. The head is quite persistent and the lacing is quite sticky.
Smells of oak, leather, barnyard, citrus, grass, some caramel sweetness, and tart apples as well.
Tart bright acidity at first in the flavor. This is followed with a slightly sweet nutty grain character. Still some hop bitterness despite the age. Tannins from the oak and a strong barnyard brett character. Earthy and funky, but finishes very clean. A solid amount of oak character. As the sourness fades the oak and malt characters come out more and more.
Decntly carbonated and very dry. Flavors clean out very quickly making it very drinkable despite the complex flavor profile.
Very nice beer from Jolly Pumpkin. These are beers I wish I could afford to always have in my fridge.

Pours a clear, gold color. 2/3 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sourness, slight sweet malt, hint of hop, slight alcohol, yeast, and slight citrus. Fits the style of a Belgian Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is a strong dryness associated with this brew. Tastes of strong sourness, hint of hop, alcohol, sweet malt, and yeast. Good appearance, aroma, blend, and body.
