Pours medium clear amber with nice splashy lace from a loose head. Ring of retention.
Nice notes here. Some light pie spice, with yeast and funk. I swear I get vanilla somewhere.
Tart up front, then some spice (both pie and...coriander?). I get a little sweet marzapan as well, but it is funny, as this dries out and you get a little lemon juice and bitter. Really unique and complex.
Medium bodied, good carbonation.
Nice beer. Unique spice and changes in flavor. The sour might put some people off, but I liked it.
