Bottle poured into a tulip glass
OMG was this a surprisingly great beer. I grabbed it as part of a mixed sixer and I'm glad I did.
A- I was met with a huge, foamy, white head as I poured the hasy golden yellow beer into the tulip glass. I had to stop short risking an overflow on the initial pour. It had a steady stream of light carbonation bubbling up from the center-bottom of the glass and left lots of foamy white lace.
S- This one smelled fruity and sweet. The fruity scents were somewhere between an apple and peaches. Hop aromas were lesser, but still came through.
T- I felt the taste was initially complex and really had to work to pick out all the flavors. It was initially fruity with a pleasant green apple taste that was somewhat dry and bitter. There were citrus hops lurking in the finish.
M- Very nice and smooth in the mouth. The dry flavor came through in the mouthfeel too.
D- This is definitely a new favorite of mine for the warmer summer months. It was very flavorful, yet clean and crisp.
