Poured from the 750 into a large tulip. Color is a fairly cloudy honey shade of amber. Big foamy white head that won't go away. Nice thick lacing as I enjoy the beer.
Smell is quite funky with a lot of tart fruit as well. Potent and pleasant at the same time. Sour without being overpowering. Lots of herbal smells in the nose to with some coriander spice as well. Complex smell is really inviting, on to the taste.
Taste is funky for sure, but not nearly as tart and sour as you would expect after smelling the beer. Barnyard funk is the dominant flavor with the herbalness in the nose coming through nicely on the palate. Some apple comes in as the beer warms. Taste is surprisingly simple, yet well done. After such a complex nose the flavor comes up a little short but this is still quite an enjoyable saison.
Tons of carbonation as expected. Bubbly, light mouthfeel and a bone dry finish. Just what you want in a saison. Overall a well done beer, just wish there was a bit more to it. The low alcohol and easy palatability make this a great one for a hot day. I'll grab another and save it for summer.

Pour is hazed golden amber with a tight white head. Nose is hoppy and juicy, clean grain, juicy golden fruits, and a light dustiness. Grains are more in the forefront, clean. Dusty yeast, juicy golden fruits, extremely strong carbonation on a light body. Pear, lemon, nice integration and bright flavors but the carb takes a hint away from the finish.

A: Highly carbonated. Huge 4" head, rocky, frothy. Light golden in color, fairly cloudy. I don't love beers quite this carbonated, but I do love the look of this beer.
S: Spicy, brett funk, hay, a little bit of earthy hops as well. Very nice.
T: Taste very similar to aroma, but with a bit more bitterness, actually some malt sweetness as well. The brett is almost more in the backseat playing with the rest of the beer. It isn't very cheesy or horsey, hay would be the best descriptor. Spicy, but certainly not too spicy. Very nice, well balanced beer. Completely enjoyable.
M: Medium light, the carbonation doesn't bother me all that much. Not super drying, coats the tongue just a bit. This could certainly be classified as refreshing though, although it's fairly complex.
O: I think this is just a wonderfully made beer. It has so many subtle flavors that blend into something complex. It's refreshing yet interesting. Recommend.
