750ml bottle poured into tulip 14/10/12

A hazy golden peach with a a hands width of foam, I got about a 1 to 3 ration of liquid to foam, I still have more foam at the bottom of the glass then I had liquid when I poured it. the massive soapy head ends up as a pencil top eraser like island that pivots like a bobble bead doll when I tilt the glass.

Edit- I'm bumping this one up to perfect, my third pour left me with what can only be understood by someone who's gone down the Great Ocean Road outside Melbourne and seen London Bridge before it fell into the sea. my first bridge of foam crossing from one side of the glass to the other, NEAT!!

S holy funk batman, some tea bag herbal notes with some citric and leafy hops but the Brett is firmly in charge and I didn't see it coming, Beers this funky normally have a little more going on other then the funk, don't get me wrong though I'm enjoying this one

T more of the same really, funky herbal notes and leafy almost grassy dried hay come out, I want to say soapy but it just might be all the foam filling my mind with suds

M a small sip explodes instantly upon entering the mouth, pretty lively even for the style, very airy and foamy with a little grittiness left behind with a herbal tea leaf funk aftertaste

O for some reason I wasn't expecting a a funk bomb and I'm surprised how simple but funky this one is. I'm amazed this one didn't explode when I opened it with how carbonated it is, respectable beer though don't get me wrong

Unexpected qualities, mostly a good thing, something you could easily session but you might win a burping contest along the way. very funky and heavily carbonated low alc% brew, worth a shot for sure

This pours a hazy golden brown tea color.

There’s a lightly tart aroma with notes of dark cherries on it.

I get some more dark cherries as I sip, with a light sourdough funk rounding it out. There’s a tart finish and a light body. Tasty and delicate.

this is the kind of wild ale i would drink all day every day. the best of the bam incarnations i think, more hoppy, reminds me of mikkeller ak alive, that funky, so darn good. only lightly hazy amber color liquid with more than an inch of pearly white head as light as a feather and lasting for the whole drink. on tap at hops and pie, i love their beer program. aromas of farmhouse funk and citrusy hops, its a reall cool and uncommon combination. flavors of brett in all its glory mingle with the hops, which only add a little bitterness but a ton of oomph to a beer as sessionable as this one. the yeast and funk combo here is pure glory, light and bright, and the mouthfeel is incredibly dry, with some peppery spice and a gorgeous hop bouquet mixing with the brett. complex and supremely drinkable at under 5% abv. i wish i had a mainline of this, i would never get bored. some of the most impressive stuff in a beautiful catalog from jolly pumpkin.

Batch 1046/1047, bottled 3-14-12. Had this once loooong ago on-tap, curious to try it again and see how it has held up up after 20 months. Shared with friends.

Gusher bottle! Darkish orange body with plenty of bubbles and some haze. Ridiculous foamy off-white head morphing into all sorts of shapes and sizes, lace everywhere, etc.

Nice scent of brett/light tart fruits, bread, some grass and earthy tones.

Taste follows suit, still some nice hoppage at this point. Good, somewhat tame tart brett presence, apple, citrus fruits, bread, grass, some earthy and farmy tones.

Very carbonated and foamy, maybe a bit detracting but it works decently with these flavors. Other than that, quite easy drinking.

Like many JP saisons, nothing earth-shattering but certainly a pleasant and interesting beer. Good brett and some x-tra hops.
