Bottle courtesy of OHLRangers, thanks Ed.
Pours gold in color with a reddish/orange hue to it. Nice frothy head of about half an inch forms on the pour, then recedes to spotty circles of froth.
Smell is slight funk. There's also some lemony sourness to the nose as well. A bit of yeast is noticeable in the nose as well.
Taste is much more sour than the nose leads on. Ron really has those bugged barrels working overtime now. Plenty of sourness, but not a whole lot of pumpkin noticeable at all. Maybe just a wee bit in the finish.
Good carbonation and wonderful sourness in the mouthfeel. I'm a huge fan/supporter of Jolly Pumpkin and this beer doesn't disappoint.
