750 mL botte, batch 598, bottled 8/11/10
A: Clear copper under a medium white head. Excellent lace and retention. Very good looking bber.
S: Typical sour aroma from JP, light spice in the background.
T: Funky yeast, light hint of pumpkin, hay, bit of sweetness, maybe a quick flash of cocoa near the finish, mild bitterness.
M/D: Medium bodied, carbonation is a touch high but over the body takes on a creamy character. Drinkability is good.
Pumpkin beer? I'm not convinced. But I'm a sucked for sour beers and I love JP stuff, so I can't bring myself to give this one to low of scores, because it IS good.
