Pours a medium brown/chestnut with a respecatble head that dissapates quickly.
Aroma is a pleasant balance of malt and somewhat spicy hoppiness. Some earthy flavors, I get that a lot from Saranac beers.
Taste is mostly dominated by hops, but not in a big way. Their is some malt balance here but not much. Some bitterness in the aftertaste.
Not an especially good beer. Easy drinking and better than most Saranac's I've had, but nothing that special.
