Pours a crystal clear amber with a half inch head of eggshell foam. Good, striped lacing. The aroma is hoppy, but balanced off with a bready yeast undercoat. I found the initial taste a bit metallic, but appropriately bitter due to the Willamette hops. However, the malts were not much in evidence as a counterweight; the fuggles struggled through only at the finish, and I could not really find the advertised floral finish. The brew was a tad too carbonated as well. Nevertheless, not a bad choice from this micro-macro.
