A: A rich, deep copper color with an orange tint. A very large, creamy off-white head bubbles up with good retention and very nice lacing.
S: Bland malt sweetness accompanied by some earthy hop aromas. Considerable nutty and yeasty scents as well. Appealing, but not especially complex.
T: Not a ton of complexity in the malt department - just a vaguely caramel sweetness. Some bready touches as well, now that I think about it. A nice nutty flavor is undercut by some steely, earthy and herbal hops that come across as a tad unrefined. A slight dose of sugar in the aftertaste.
M: Somewhat full-bodied with lightish carbonation. A fading, somewhat dry finish.
D: This is pretty nice - it certainly looks great. Not especially complex, but it's got a strong flavor and it's definitely not one of the cloying, cinnamon and nutmeg infused winter seasonals from many breweries.

Poured into a mason jar mug: color is dark gold, head is very light tan, head presents 1/4 thick, but dissipates to thin top, no lacing.
Smell is grainy sweet malt, caramel, limited toffee, earthy hops.
Taste is more grainy sweet malt, light caramel, hint of toffee, herbal hops.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.
Overall a lightly sweet american style lager.

Small little brown and light red pour, 1/5" head, beige. Nutty aroma.
If you wanted an American boring brown ale, here it is, a little less sweet than Newcastle. Same vein. Search for toffee, nuts and caramel all you want. Some people will definitely like this beer. That person who wants to go beyond AAL, but doesn't want a lot of malt, hops, bitterness etc. . .
I'm not that guy.
