A: This beer pours a dark, golden-amber color with a 1-inch soapy, cream colored head that dissipates quickly. Doesnt leave any significant lacing behind, but has some bubbles on top.
S: I get some allspice and clove in the aroma, that is followed by a strong scent of pumpkin and cinnamon. Very nice nose to this beer.
T: Somewhat of a foul taste up front which is from the carbonation, I would assume. I get a strong presence of nutmeg with a bit of cinnamon on the back end. I got a lot more pumpkin in the aroma that the flavor. I barely get any pumpkin taste in this one.
M: Lots of carbonation, the label says this is a full bodied beer, but I beg to differ because this beer is pretty watered down and thin. Still drinkable though.
O: Im a little disappointed in this beer as I came into it with the expectation that it would at least be better than average compared to some of the other beers I have tried. I do actually get a bit of pumpkin in the aftertaste but the balance of spices is not there. The beer isnt bad and I could drink a couple without much problem, but for a go to Pumpkin Ale, I will need to go elsewhere.
