When I had this back in 2010, it was called Saranac lager & lemonade and it was a part of a variety box.
Sunny color, decent head and lace.
Aroma of citrus and lemons.
The taste was sweet upfront with light malts, lemonade, lemons all the way through and some spices.
Light in body with medium carbonation.
The beer was too darn sweet with horrible balance.

Format: a slim brown 355mL bottle with a standard Saranac macro label.
Appearance: pours out a pale straw yellow with a huge inch of extremely creamy pure white head that drops over a few minutes to a solid cap. Great rings of lacing as it drops too. Exceeds expectations. Update: a more moderate half-finger on subsequent pours.
Aroma: faint lemon citrus without much in the way of lager qualities.
Taste: there is a definite sweet grain in there, along with some lemon tartness. You can absolutely tell that the lemonade has "high fructose corn syrup and lemon juice concentrate and lemon flavour" rather than a proper lemonade, as the lemon qualities are harsh and a little artificial.
Aftertaste: a slightly astringent lemon sourness on the finish.
Mouth aeel: A light-to-moderate body with a moderate, semi-spritzing carbonation. The feel is a little flat, which is disappointing. A touch more carbonation would make it sit a bit better.
Overall: the last time I had a shandy was one of those odd times mum had one from dad's beer when I was eight or nine. I was expecting this to be dreadful, but it was well above expectations - which is to say it is okay. The lemon is not very good quality but as an overall package this is not bad. I wouldn't pay AU$60 a case for it though, and if I was watching what I drank I would just get a mid-strength lager instead.

My bro in law picked up a 6er of these for a recent family gathering and I ended up with the remaining bottles, so let's giver her a whirl!
Pours a transparent soft straw yellow with lots of visible carb and a foamy head. Lager all day.
Nose is as advertised, lager and lemonade.
Really comes alive in the taste since it leads with the lemonade. The lager is still present enough to remind you it is a beer but he super sweet and thick lemonade flavors dominate.
Mouth is prickly carbonation and a bit odd since it is a lemonade beer.
Overall surprisingly refreshing. A great beverage to have for your friends who don't like beer, and a great example of the amazing flavors you can find in a beer in today's world, but not something I could have on any regular basis but a fun novelty to enjoy in the warmer months.
