Saranac had such a garbage reputation out here about a decade ago, that it used to be called nutsac, but I digress. On to review this not so great beer.
Looks like a decent black & tan. A little too thin for my tastes. Smells decent. But then its all downhill from there. Once you taste it, you can tell it was made for the so called East Coast/Yuenling type palates. Thin, watery, resinous old wood type of flavor that is strong on the tobacco and not much else. Mouthfeel, you just want to swallow it or spit it out. I guess it's drinkable, because it tastes like colored water, but its not desireable.
