Pour is quite dark with a silky off-white head, sort of thin looking though. Very little aroma to pick up. A hint of roasty malt in the bottle. Flavor is well balanced between lager crispness and stout malt. Fairly smooth and actually isn't too thin in the mouthfeel, again balanced nicely while slightly nodding towards stout. A little bit of chocolate malt may be in there as well (?) it's pretty good for a black and tan. Better than I was expecting even. It's not too heavy and a few could certainly be enjoyed.
