Nice and rocky head, tan in color nestled on top of a dark brown body.
Not much smell to me. Kinda metallic.
I can taste the irish stout and I can taste the amber in this. It has a finish like a porter. After taste is like burnt toast ( I like burnt toast so...).
Not too heavy, not too light, just right. Not sure I want a whole six pack at a time, but this is a nice mellow beer for after desert.
Usually I find that a Black and Tan is a nice lunch beer, but this is not a traditional black and tan to me. Still it does have a place in my fridge, and my heart ( and stomach).
