Saranac Pale Ale, my old stand-by.
A - Pours a dark amber color with a nice tan creamy head.
S - Hoppy and piney for the most part.
T - Hoppy and crisp. The first sip tastes a bit metallic.
M - This feels a bit sticky and a bit thin. Not too thick.
D - I could drink this all night (and I have many times). Perhaps my gateway into hoppy beers!
This is a decent pale ale. Nothing spectacular, but Saranac is very affordable since I live near the brewery. Certainly a solid pale ale.
