This pale ale pours with a moderate amount of carbonation, but doesn't produce much head. All that is left behind is a little foam ring around the glass, which eventually dissipates to nothing. The body is amber to red in color with no haze.
It gives off a slight toasty aroma with a moderate amount of hops presence. Saranac Pale Ale tastes a little biscuity, and a little bit bitterer than I'd expect pale ale to taste. This reminds me more of an ESB than a pale ale.
This brew feels a little coarse and leaves behind a warm after feel.
Overall this is an okay brew, but it's not a pale ale to me.
