16 oz. can with no freshness date. Brewed to 13.5P with English pale and crystal malts, and hopped with Cascade and Kent Goldings. Pours reddish amber, clear, with medium carbonation and two fingers of tan head that leaves nice lacing. Crisp aroma consists of pine, citrus, fruit and flowers, with sweet caramel malt and flavorful yeast that gives just a dash of well-integrated diacetyl. Very English-tasting, with notes of floral hops, bready/biscuity malts and fruity/earthy/nutty yeast. Also, hints of burnt sugar, citrus, resinous pine sap and a moderate, lingering bitterness. The finish lands a bit watery and I was expecting more caramel malt based on the color (adjusted with black malt perhaps?), and the body is smooth, with low carbonation and a dry, almost tannic edge to it. Not too bad of a brew here. It's approachable, easy to drink, well-hopped, and fairly priced to boot; definitely recommended.

alot of alcohol on the nose , a little light citrus, not too strong. taste is bitter, good spice notes in the back end with a clean dry finish. a little alcohol burn. a little too harsh for my liking on a pale ale. a little more burn than I expected. a tiny bit off balance but clean

2nd one I drank out of the spring sampler. Definitely a good IPA. Good look, good smell, good taste. Better than the Forbidden IPA, in my opinion. I enjoyed this from the first tilt into my mouth to the last swallow. Good after taste. A very decent IPA. I'd recommend it.
