Golden to amber in color with a thin light tan head. The aroma is biscuity, malty and floral hops. Flavor is almost tart with a hop tang. Decent bigger IPA, though the hops seem a but unremarkable compared with so many in your face citrus and piney IPAs these day.

Way darker than your average ipa appearance, this one comes in SRM wise above even an amber ale. 1/2" white head. Uniform lace. Aroma gives off some C hop cascade mostly notes. Dunno if dry hopped, but the hop usage in one form or another is evident.
Taste reveals why this beer is so dark, it uses a lot of heavier roasted malts, crystal malt seems to be all over this one. Has some tree like flavors and feels to go along with the woody caramel.
I've had some good, some bad in these bottles. No bottle date so I dunno what to make of the inconsistency.

Nice hoppy IPA with citrus and pine. Hop residual left on palate after swallowing. True to its style. Coppery color, with quarter-inch head with some lacing.

Appearance- Golden amber in color with about a one finger head produced.
Aroma- Lots of citrus and malty sweetness.
Taste- Big on the citrus and caramel malt at first. Towards the end a piney bitterness has crept in along with a cracker malt which helps balance the pine. Mild bitterness and a balanced array of flavors.
Feel- Medium bodied, medium carbonation, and a slick oily feel that coats the mouth.
Overall- An ok/good ipa that has some solid hop flavors, but really lacks flavor beyond some citrus, mild pine, and sweet malts. If it was designed to be malty ipa that's fine, but if that is going to be a focus along side the hops then the malt should have a little more flavor besides general sweetness. Good ipa, but not worth revisiting.
