Poured from a 12 oz. bottle to a standard pint. Cap reads: "Try LEGAL Weed" & "A Friend in Weed Is a Friend Indeed".
A: Clear, deep amber with a huge rocky/foamy 2-finger ivory head. Great head retention and gorgeous sticky lacing. Tons of vigorously flowing carbonation. A fine-looking IPA...
S: Big spicy/herbal hop nose with traces of grain and sweeter caramel/toasted malt.
T: A more mundane, hop-centric IPA without the malty balance. Hoppiness introduces itself with medicinal bitterness, hints of freshly cut grass and a mild soapiness (glass cleanliness was not an issue). A spicy, zesty and flavorful IPA in general, though nothing memorable.
M: Highly carbonated mouthfeel, a medium body on the brink of fullness. Lengthy bitterness grabbing the center and back of the tongue and not letting go...
D: A good IPA, worth a try. In a world with hundreds of IPAs this one would fall somewhere in the middle to upper areas of the pack. Thanks to flexabull for sending it & giving me a chance to "try legal weed".

Way darker than your average ipa appearance, this one comes in SRM wise above even an amber ale. 1/2" white head. Uniform lace. Aroma gives off some C hop cascade mostly notes. Dunno if dry hopped, but the hop usage in one form or another is evident.
Taste reveals why this beer is so dark, it uses a lot of heavier roasted malts, crystal malt seems to be all over this one. Has some tree like flavors and feels to go along with the woody caramel.
I've had some good, some bad in these bottles. No bottle date so I dunno what to make of the inconsistency.

Nice hoppy IPA with citrus and pine. Hop residual left on palate after swallowing. True to its style. Coppery color, with quarter-inch head with some lacing.

Appearance- Golden amber in color with about a one finger head produced.
Aroma- Lots of citrus and malty sweetness.
Taste- Big on the citrus and caramel malt at first. Towards the end a piney bitterness has crept in along with a cracker malt which helps balance the pine. Mild bitterness and a balanced array of flavors.
Feel- Medium bodied, medium carbonation, and a slick oily feel that coats the mouth.
Overall- An ok/good ipa that has some solid hop flavors, but really lacks flavor beyond some citrus, mild pine, and sweet malts. If it was designed to be malty ipa that's fine, but if that is going to be a focus along side the hops then the malt should have a little more flavor besides general sweetness. Good ipa, but not worth revisiting.
