Pours a pale hazy gold with a serious rocky white head that just keeps going. Smell is cookie dough, slight grassiness, and a little cinnamon. The taste is bready and a bit toasted. The aftertaste has that cookie dough thing going on. Interesting, but one dimensional, like an adult film star. The mouthfeel is medium carbonated and medium slick. About which I feel medium. Overall, I like it. It doesn't have the interesting complexity of a Duvel, but its definitely a tasty beer. Prost, Fritz!

22 oz bottle pours a hazed gold color with a frothy white head. Decent retention and lace.
Nose is fruity yeast phenols, lemony hops and some soft grainy malt. Impressed.
Taste is a really nice, soft grain base with the Sorachi Ace hops really strutting their stuff. Yeast throws down more than the Brooklyn version and plays well with the rich malt. Odd using 'rich' to describe pale maltiness, but this one just has a body to it that couples with the malt flavors perfectly. I am more impressed with this than any other Rahr beer I have had....good stuff.
