Look - dark brown with a slight red hue
Smell - not that aromatic... Slight caramel..some coffee
Taste - nice wood flavors right off the bat - pretty dry - some tobacco and brown sugar - dries out more but gets a strange chemical flavor.... Maybe the coffee...its subdued and not really strong
Feel - medium Bodied... Hoped for a thicker mouth feel
Overall - a decent coffee scotch ale, some off flavors aft the end. Decent brew but can't see myself buying regularly.

Pours a dark, but translucent, brown with two fingers of khaki foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is coffee, even when the nose is far from the glass. Chocolate, cocoa, toffee, caramel, and toasty, nutty malts form the remainder of the aroma, landing on the 'sweet' side. Flavor profile is caramel, toffee, cocoa, milk chocolate, and medium-roast coffee for the majority. Nutty, caramely, toasty malts form the remainder of the flavor profile and add a pleasant base for the flavor additives. Mouth feel is fuzzy and fizzy, with a medium thickness. Overall, lots going on here, with the dial clearly turned towards 'sweet'. Coffee is pleasant and well reserved.
Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 12oz can.

Pours a nice coffee color with a thin creamy head.
Definite coffee aroma.
First taste is awesome. Lots of coffee and some sweetness. The can mentions caramel-yep, chocolate-yep, and marshmallow-OK.
Mouth feel is very good, sort of velvety.
Overall very nice!

12oz can. Poured out a dark, dark brown color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of roasted malt, oak, earthy notes and caramel. Sweet toffee with peaty flavors, vanilla, oak and roasted malt.

The body is black cherry lacquer, becoming dark red at certain angles, with a fizzy khaki head that settles to a soft creamy blanket.
Smell has a nice, smooth, round and roasty mocha with a hint of caramel and biscuit.
Holy wow, major palate surprise! This is absolutely luscious, velvety and thick, with a round carbonation that envelopes the mouth. There's just loads of delicious mocha all over this beer, with caramel, toffee, toast and some bittering component of maybe grapefruit rind or…actually, it's possibly the woody, spicy oak. Iron Joe has a semi-dry finish despite its smooth, fluid luscious feel. What kind of cheat code is this?!
