look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3 | overall: 3.5

Appearance: Looks like a pale ale, with a clear amber color capped by three fingers of foam; the head turns rocky and leaves a few shards of lace

Smell: Graham cracker malt with just a hint of Germanic hops

Taste: Graham cracker malt flavors dominate from the front end to the finish; not much hop balance but what there is tastes rather grassy

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, almost syrupy, with low to moderate carbonation

Overall: This bottle must date from the 2011 release so it is no wonder that the hops have faded; it now tastes more like a Bock than an Imperial Pilsner and it is rather tasty, if you think of it that way

Thanks to the forgotten BA who sent this to me as an extra

Thanks to dcloeren for this interesting beer, at least in name.

Big fluffy head, nice lacing, semi clear golden color.

Nose of sweet malts and candy, candied citrus, hint of fruity esters, caramel toffee like.

Taste fluffy malts, light booze, sweet candy, syrupy, malts, light bitter hops hint citrus, gritty and fairly bitter, not really a pilsner but decent beer overall.

Mouth is med to fuller bodied, decent carb, bit of booze.

Overall not quite what I expected. Nothing really resembling a pilsner at all, some booze, lots of sweet syrupy malts and candy flavors, some hops, decent tasting but not nearly a pilsner like beer, even a "double pilsner".
