This is a decent enough offering from DFW's only well established brewery as far as I know. Its touted as an IPA with German influence.
A- Not bad looking, super clear, crystalline even. Nice tight white head.
S- It didn't have a pronounced aroma at all.
T- Nice hops, tasted like Saaz, they were really spicy whatever they were. OTher than the hop character this isn't much to say about the taste. Very average.
M- Nice and crisp, some good carbonation but not too much. Fairly full bodied.
D- This would make a good session brew.
A pretty average beer all around, its price puts it in the same range as some really classy brews though. I probably won't be buying it again.

On tap at the 2014 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest held at the Paso Robles Event Center in Paso Robles, CA.
Pours a hazy dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, caramel, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and toast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that has a nice balance of malt and hop characteristics all around.
