Really liked this one. Had it on draft at Rustico. They started with a nice saison and added rye malt, honeysuckle, lemon and grapefruit peel. The results were very good. Bought a 6 pack in cans.

A little too sweet with an off-style bready body.

Brief write-up. First off, when I had this at Max's many moons ago, it was on cask. A SAISON! ON CASK! Turns out, the two aspects don't really blend well. Because it was relatively flat, it felt richer than one might expect a 4.4% saison to be - but on the other hand, it didn't nearly have that effervescent dryness I like in the style. The flavor profile is acceptable (if rather simplistic), bringing a combination of rye spice and saison-esque spiciness. I didn't get any grapefruit. To be fair to this one, the serving style damned it more than the actual quality.

3.05/5: A saison shouldn't be put in a cask, guys
