Nicely spiced. Great for a winter night.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass.

A nice fluffy and off tan and very pinhead even bubbled head. Three fingers tall and settles nicely, with lots of rising fast tan carbonation along the edges. Body color is a nice deep amber almost red, but hints at a rusted burnt orange and quite opaque.

Hints of classic overseas Belgian character, sucrose sweet and lots of toasty brown sugars to match. Some mild clove sensations, warm herbal tea strangely, and soft cinnamon.

Palate comes with expected pleasure. Nice subdued and sweet brown sugar and cinnamon with a good carbonated and dried palate. Crisp almost champagne like but with raisin and fruit density. Noticeably warm but not horrifically boozy though.

Overall, while not a strong pale, it's a textbook Belgian amber pretty much.
