On tap at Kloby's in Laurel, MD.
A - Pours medium to dark gold in color with nice lacing retention (sticky, dense, white).
S - Yeasty, cloves, light Belgian spice. Aroma is light but more yeast forward.
T - Yeasty, coriander, lemons, light on the peppery presence. As I work my way through the glass, the lemons and delicate peppery spice (Seeds of Paradise?).
M - Medium body, gentle carbonation, man leaves your tongue salivating on the sides while the semi-dry finish hits the top of the tongue.
O - This beer grew on me as I worked through the glass, for the style, maybe a little more complexity?

Not a bad beer. However, there is nothing that makes it stand out either.

16 oz served in a New Belgium Goblet at Bertha's Mussels in Bawlmore, hon. From notes.
A: Pours a clear copper color - usually, I prefer my Belgian ales unfiltered. A nice stream of carbonation rises to the top. There isn't much head: just a thin white film with almost no lacing left behind.
S: I'm not getting much of anything. All I'm really picking up is a bit of bread and nondescript fruit.
T: Similar to the aroma, but not quite as weak. It starts with a touch of lemon, transitioning to a bready finish. I'm also getting some biscuity notes. This is rather nondescript in flavor.
M: It's full bodied - perhaps even flabby considering its mild flavor - but at least it's dry on the back end. Fairly easy to drink, thanks to its vibrant carbonation.
O: Pretty basic in all aspects. It doesn't do a whole lot right, but neither is there anything wrong with it. There are definitely better BPAs on the market right now.
