reviewing from some scribbled notes.

on tap at Brewer's Art in Baltimore. served in a becker pint glass.
the menu said that the recipe rotates according to the zodiacs so I'm assuming mine was Aquarius.

A - very clear, honey blonde with an orange tint. minimal head. no lacing at all. some noticeable carbonation. looks pretty simple, but is appetizing enough.

S - I got a lot of honey. fresh. some caramel malts. that's really it for the nose.

T/M - strong honey like the nose. nice sweet caramel malts, wheat. watery not in the flavor but the mouthfeel, very light and easy to drink. high carbonation. very slight bitterness, almost unnoticeable. finishes amazingly smooth and clean.

D - very drinkable, this goes down like water.

Enjoyed this at Brewer’s art on tap in Baltimore, Maryland.

This beer rotates with the zodiac signs – this version was Sagottarius

A: Pours a cooper color with 1 -finger head that dissipates slowly and leaves a wispy lace.

S: Malty aroma with hints of caramel and yeast.

T: Malty brew with a sweet background. Slight hints of fruits.

M: Medium body and medium carbonation.

O: Decent pale ale – good aroma and flavor. Easily drinkable and very enjoyable.

S - Malty with yeasty off scents.

T - Decent malt backbone with the typical floral tastes for this style. Well balanced with light hoppiness.

I guess this rotates, my version was listed as 4.8%, brewed with rye, northern brewer and mt hood hops.
On draught at their pub, served in a tall tumbler, Zodiac is gold with a big-bubbled white head that leaves no lace.

Nose is pithy citrus and minerals, but light.

Taste is light cereals, with a hint of rye spiciness well showcased, but a bit bland overall.

Mouthfeel is light and crisp.

Drinkability is good in that it's a light, clean session ale...on the other hand, it's subtle character didn't hold my interest.

A - Poured a copper color with a white head that leaves some lacing behind

S - Is of caramel malts upfront then the Belgian yeast

T - Follows the nose caramel malt then the Belgian flavors come out

M - This beer has a medium body with higher carbonation to it

D - Overall this is a very good and unique beer they did a good job at blending the two styles worth trying

Served in a long conical shape glass at The Brewer's Art.

Appearance: Kind of an orange color with hints of yellow and hints of copper depending on the source of light coming in. A bit of haze to it, and a soapy white head that leaves decent fluffy, water-looking lacing around the top of the glass.

Smell: A lighter melange of fruity spice and some mild funk, more earthy and light than anything else.

Taste: Though the finish doesn't really last that long, there's some nice sweetness at the forefront, some lighter, bright fruits like apple and some citrus and maybe some cherries. Finish gets a bit more bitter to fruity to fading fairly quickly.

Mouthfeel: More watery than I would've liked, though it stays in the above quality range without falling further below.

Drinkability: A pretty easy drinking version of the style, and though the two beers at The Brewer's Art weren't terribly high on flavor, they do have it there, and the beers are very sessionable, fresh, and reasonably priced.
