On tap at brewers art

The more i drink of it the more i like it... Super refreshing

Pours a azy yellow. Pale. Nice white head. Smells lightly hoppy with some wonderful lemon on the nose. Sweet, tart, citrusy, lots of lemon and sorachi hops. Strong flavour, refreshing, very drinkable. This is a really unique and enjoyable beer (329 characters)

This is actually a grisette, an obscure ancient farmhouse style beer served to miners (by women termed grisettes IIRC). Brewer's Art adds lemon peel to theirs, with Sorachi Ace hops. Served on draught in a tall tumbler at their pub, Clamper's Ale (I think Clamper was a reference to the gold rush miners of 1849) is a chill hazed pale gold with a small white head leaving light, scattered lace.

Smell is great, nice fruity esters, with the lemon peel providing welcome depth without overwhelming. Really loved the nose.

Taste nice, some spice and a pleasant bitterness counters the fruitiness of the esters. Very clean.

Mouthfeel is crisp and light.

Drinkability is very high, a great beer for the sweltering Baltimore summers that can be drunk by the bucket without getting you too drunk. Bonus points for the fact that they actually resurrected this historical style! (885 characters)
