somehow had skipped out on this, save for a small session amount which I could not fully taste due to being overpowered by the other beers
A - dark reddish brown, great creamy head, looks great in a tulip glass
S - evident sugary malt and Belgian yeast, some citrusy florals from the hops
T - sweet malt and slightly biting flowery hop taste followed by the classic Belgian dubbel taste and a powerful bready malt finish. excellent
M - very carbonated, possibly a little too much, but otherwise well bodied
O - a great local staple, and recommended for any beer fan

Had on draft at Lures
A-Pours a hazy reddish amber with lasting creamy off white 1 finger head, spotty lacing.
S-Aromas are brown sugar, grass, some citrus, dough yeasts.
T-Taste are spicy lemony chinook hops, grass, hints of toffee malts, no alcohol.
M-Palate was soft smooth carbonation with light/medium body.
O-I remembered having this years ago and how great it was and now with how much other great beer has improve my taste.
Serving type: on-tap
