(3.75) A: Cloudy deep amber colour with an incredibly thick, creamy and bubbly head that slowly recedes to a thick collar.
(3.5) S: Pine, toffee, nuts, grapefruit rind, baked bread, and a generous aroma of spices. Fruity elements present but also evokes that heavily-hopped/very-malty quality.
(3.5) T: Similar to aroma with pine, citrus rinds, toffee and breads complimented with a fairly herbal and spiced flavour. An initial toffee/bready sweetness that transitions to a heavy and lingering bitterness evoking pine and herbal qualities.
(3.25) M: Medium-lighter bodied with lower carbonation. Pleasantly both semi-creamy and resin-y but would prefer more carbonation for the ABV and a bit more body.
(3.5) D: Was very intrigued when I saw this at Fromagerie Atwater and had to give it a try. Although it has some nice qualities to it, the mouthfeel was a bit off and the taste wasn’t all that different than your average microbrewed Quebec IPA.

Bottle: Poured an orangey/amber color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of dry grainy cereal notes with some light fruity notes with some light bitter notes. Taste is also dominated by dry unrefined grainy notes with some light bitter notes with some fruity ester. Body is light with medium carbonation. I didn’t really enjoyed the malt profile in this one and the hops flavours didn’t really came through.
