Review from BeerAdvocate magazine Vol. II Issue XI:

Chestnut-hued brew with a fine clarity, as long as the sediment stays in the bottle. Thin, bubbly tan lacing sticks around for a while. Musty mineral water and sour fruit of cherries and plums seems to dominate the nose. Semi-prickly crispness within a very well attenuated and dry body. Tart and tangy with a mineral salt flavor in the back. Tart fruitiness has similarities to lemons, cherries and plums. Ghost-like wood character throughout. Extremely dry malt flavor that resembles carob powder and chicory. There are herbal medicinal phenols and yeast in the bone-dry finish. No real sign of the alcohol other than a small warming feeling in the back of the throat--very deceiving.

No worries on a shortage of complexities here, though the extreme dryness and no-show alcohol leave a void and some confusion on the taste buds. Worth a try? Sure, why not.

Pours medium redish brown, little carbonation, off white head after vigorous pour, some lacing.

Slight sour smell, a little malts, maybe some rye? Fruity esters from yeast. Funky fruity taste, kinda like a sweet fruit lambric. Alcohol is not apparent, very well cloaked.

I'd give this one a couple years cellar time. I'd bet it would be nuts.

Poured out a murky orange brown, conditioned on yeast, with a thick just off white head, lots of sticky lacing. The nose has lots of yeast and alcohol, some white wine must, a little banana, champagne, and wet concrete. The taste had a backbone of yeast and alcohol, with banana, and champagne rounding things out. Has a light body with good carbonation. Not enough malt of additional flavor to balance out the alcohol. Otherwise a fine beer, and enjoyable.
