Having a Stone Saison du Buff from last year that I forgot was in my fridge. Actually think it tastes better than the two I had when I first got them last year.

After years of avoiding it due to more serious beer lover proclaiming it to be bland, so now I must concur. I was really hoping I'd like it since I have nothing but respect for New Belgium.

Gettin' my hops in with this new beast! Lovin' it, so far. Excellent balance between bitterness and hoppiness. Nice malt representation. My kinda DIPA. Cheers on a cold and rainy Tuesday!

Enjoying my friend's outstanding DIPA (a top rated beer for me!), and then
a Short's Aorta Double Red Ale to follow (whatever that is) .
A strong ale with a high IBU (and before you flame me, I get the touchiness
of the IBU rating) which they bill at and astonishing 127 IBU! So the malt
should mask this initially, but I expect/hope for one heck of an hop echo. We'll see.
Don't have a clue about the giant aorta jumping out of the curtains, but hey,
a giant aorta it is! Cheers!

Love Great Lakes, haven't tried that one yet though. Which William S. Burroughs book are you reading?

I spotted some Great Divide Denver Pale Ale at my neighborhood packy, which doesn't typically carry Great Divide, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's a pretty solid pale in the English manner, nicely fruity and an easy drinker, so that's good... but I mostly bought it as an encouragement to the owner to start stocking other Great Divide brews as well.

    To yer health, folks!
