The natural question is, what will replace it?

I got the pick of the litter it seems, as of the other two only one drinks at all, and not good beer.

#Hashtag DIPA is the winning name for our upcoming release, a double IPA brewed with 100% Simcoe "hop hash." It'll be on tap at CBC this Friday, 3/15 and we'll be pouring it at the EBF on Saturday.

Up next from the Barrel Cellar will be our annual release of YouEnjoyMyStout.

On the sour end, we'll be releasing our golden lambic in the next month or so. This has been refermented in the 4 wine barrels historically used for production of our Kriek du Cambridge. Jay and I tasted it last week, and we think it's pretty bangin' for a 1 year old, unblended, unfruited, straight up barrel fermented sour. I'm personally going to drink the hell out of this.

    Back to work!

Is it safe to assume #hashtag will be on until its gone or is it just a one night only beer at the pub?

This is a full 10bbl batch of hop goodness. It'll be on tap for at least 2 weeks.
    Cheers!

Awesome. A few of us are coming to Boston for a concert friday night and were planning on hitting CBC first. Excited about #hashtag, and the sour porter especially.

Don't order it! It's totally undrinkable (by anyone other than me).

Is it available in growlers? If yes, is there a limit on how many growlers I can fill/carry out on a skid-stear?

CBC is DONG except for pre-filled growlers of their four house beers and the quarterly rotating seasonal (Spring Training IPA/Hefeweizen/Pumpkin/Big Man) and bombers of their bottling project beers.

Thanks! I didn't realize they didn't do any fresh growler fills. Bummer.

I just saw that the CBC is now available in Vermont. Any chance bombers (or maybe even limited draft) will be expanding to New Hampshire any time soon? After all, it's only a few miles from Ipswich!

    Draft-only, no growlers, I believe.

I assure you, our growlers are filled fresh nearly every day, and filled via a rather expensive counter-pressure filler which ensures quality of the beer. You are welcome to enjoy an oxidized, foamed-out, flat growler of beer filled from the faucet at the establishment of your choosing, but I will stand by my brewing team and our equipment and assure you that our growlers are fresh and filled directly from our maturation tanks.

We have never offered growler fills of any of our single-batch beers, but our four house beers plus rotating seasonal beers are available in growlers, and our selection of 22 ounce bottles is always up-to-date. You will not find beers fresher nor in better shape.

    Cheers,
    Will
