Seekabrew, like many internet sites (including BA) is only as accurate as it's readers' information. With beer distribution, things are changing constantly, so it's possible some info is outdated.

As for Anchorage in NJ, Hunterdon lists their beers and since Hunterdon is state-wide, that's accurate. Of course, Hunterdon's distribution is going to be based on the beers they have available at any given time, as well as which retailers choose to carry them.

See, that's where I disagree with the modern "beer geek" shopping technique. Why search? It costs you time and money. Any good beer store already deals with Hunterdon in NJ - ask your favorite local store to order some. Stores don't order beers unless they know there's a demand. Hunterdon can try to sell them on it, but they can't and don't simply stock every beer in every store. No retailer is going to order every brewers' complete line-up in a beer market increasingly dominated by the "ticker" who is just interested in "one and done" beer buying.

Thanks for the advice, I guess I should use more logic in my thoughts, since I'm ordering things at my job that customers ask for. I'll be sure to talk to the guys next time I'm shopping.

People helping people, keep the craft movement going, I've asked many a small NJ store to order stuff as I know other customers will pick up 6 ers if its there, and have great relationships with a handful of beer stores managers, etc... People helping people, keep BA alive and help your fellow craft enthusiast
