This is a pretty exciting announcement. Definitely pumped about all the new changes! More space + more brewers = more awesome. And as much as I don't like having to wait another month, I will enjoy (hopefully) not having to choose between wearing/carrying around a super-heavy winter coat during the fest and freezing on my walk back home.
Maybe now I can get a small group together for one (or more) of the sessions. March can't come quickly enough...

Pretty pumped to see some of the more rare Michigan beers coming out to Mass for the fest. Kuhnhenn, Right Brain, Short's, Dark Horse and obviously Founders.

    Can't wait !

I would think the responsibility should ly with the breweries, if they were smart they would do timed tappings, but they could/should be unannounced to avoid a clusterfuck.

Is that the Prism Beer from eastern PA? If so, they make an interesting Strawberry Jalapeno beer, and possibly the best coffee beer I've ever tried.

What is so smart about timed tappings? What is relly wrong with first come, first served?

For the more rare beers or the ones that brewers otherwise would have tapped at a certain time: What if the brewers just divided the amount of any particular beer they brought into 1/3 allotted for each session? If the allotment for a session kicks, then no more of that beer will be served during said session. This at least ensures that there's not a one-sesh run on a high-demand brew.

I got like 4 pours of it, there was no line. Younger lasted pretty long- longer than expected.

Bring a coat! Entry will be similar to the most ACBF, as it's a much more time efficient routing than using the escalators.

Having never been to Boston, would everyone recommend staying at Seaport Boston Hotel & Seaport World Trade Center?

    Other options within walking distance?

No, unless we can find a legit charity to rent the equipment, set it up, man it, break it down and assume all liability.

I know this has been said in the past but I am foggy. Can I bring a small backpack to put my coat and stuff in, assuming it's not like an expedition-rated mt. everest size pack?

Yeah, much like Heady Topper last year. By the end of the fest, I had tried everything I wanted and just drank Pliny until they kicked us out.

It'll depend on the venue's security policy at the time. We'll update the FAQs as we get closes to the fest.
