Leave tomorrow to return to Australia.

Big hoppy beers here. Good stuff.

Hashigo Zake, The Hop Garden and Malthouse are very good and have ranges and prices that make others in Australia not worth going to.

Service to die for. Staff know their beer.

20 growler taps at Regional Wines in Wellington.

Epic beers on tap are sublime.
Lots of rain is the only negative.

Emersons is good too, their Oreti Red IPA was superb!!

Regional was a little mind-blowing in terms of the stuff i like...wish i had more luggage space.

Service has been fantastic, beer people really cool too

Some really good IPA's here. Too bad on tap only.
Sam Adams Utopia was really good also.
Liberty Blonde Citra was top notch.

I have this awesome beer called Monteiths Radler. I hear Radler was invented by Monteiths.

It's true. I think even a fair minded, kind judge agreed with them and stopped those nasty craft people from making a beer they clearly stole. Nasty craft people. It's like the time I invented IPA and then all these people stole my idea and I told them to stop but no-one listens to me and keeps calling there beers after mine. Bastards!

Little Beer Quarter was very good, staff service was fantastic, food was great and the beer selection was quality.

Fork and brewer was was soulless. Majorly lacking in atmosphere. Huge taplist, but didn't really have the quality to pick from that Hashigo Zake or Hop Garden had.

Didn't get to Sprig & Fern.

Enjoy your trip in August! Beervana?

yeah, beervana. got to get one more in while the sister in law lives over there. dont think ill be allowed to go next year, might just have to settle for melbourne.
i really enjoyed the fork and brewer. had a long chat to one of the bartenders and who i think is the manager. they should be brewing there by the time i get back there.
sprig and fern is well worth the visit even if its just for the doople bock.
    hashigo was my favourite though.

Hashigo is great. They helped us a lot too when we had our NZ beer month. We sent some Feral their way and they sent us some NZ stuff back in a nice little keg rotation. I can't speak highly enough of them.

And the staff at Hashigo couldn't speak highly enough of Feral.

Hashigo loves Feral, Feral loves Hashigo and the poor little boy from the Sail and Anchor sits all alone and unappreciated. :slight_frown:

    lol.
