Yes I did, I was going to run their first. Did you hear something about Lakeview Binnys getting a shipment? I was there last week and they had a sign on the front window saying "Ask for BCBS at the front desk" and I did and they said that it had been gone for hours.

For those about to seek out other 7-11's, I just checked four of them downtown around the Loop after reading this post. I can report that out of the four, there was not even a hint that BCBS had been there (no empty boxes, etc. in the coolers or on the floor), and no clerk I spoke with knew what I was talking about.

as far as 7-11. that was yesterday evening, i don't live in the neighborhood but if you want to call first....i don't want to send you on a wild goose chase either.

    interesting.

well just a disclaimer, my buddy posted this on his facebook. he's not one to post fallacies (not that you're calling him a liar) but it could be in limited stores and or he was a liar.

Haha i feel like calling a 7-11 would not be fruitful. It is close to me. I will run over there and check it out.

A little much don't you think? Just because it's there doesn't mean to have to buy it all, leave some for others bro.

That was a fraction of a fraction of what was there. I couldn't afford all of it.

You should team up with "insane amounts of disposable income" guy to fix that problem.

For what it's worth, most retailers were giving away (empty) cases to anyone who asked. While I don't really care enough to suggest that Retail1LO should go ahead and photograph the bottles, for anyone that's put off by such a large stack of BCBS, just pretend all of the cases are empty.

For those people that are about to start up a multi page discussion about your hoarding and how it's unfair to others, I do not know a single person who was looking for BCBS that was unable to find at least a 4 pack. Hell in the first 2 days of The Great BCBS Panic of 2012, I got myself 4 cases by just running around. Stopped there, but just on regular runs to local hole in the wall shops I have seen cases lying around. It's still in the Chicagoland aplenty, and if you want to hoard it, good for you because it's possibly the best hoarding beer in existence. I only wish I could afford 17 cases

My apologies if my post came off incorrectly, my intent was not to state that what you said was false, I was merely trying to alert those downtown sitting at their desks thinking 'hmmmm...maybe there are four-packs downtown at 7-Eleven' to save their time and effort.

Seriously? Some of this is for personal consumption, but even more is for friends, family, relatives, trade partners...and yes...some miscellaneous trade bait. I actually hail from a craft beer family. Cousins...uncles...fathers... It's actually pretty cool. We all love the shit and we're constantly looking out for one another. You should SEE what Christmas and Thanksgiving are like with MY family. LOL Beer is my gift to just about everybody...whether there's an occasion for it or not.

Also...my cellar dropped by roughly 70% during Philly Beer Week alone with all the people I had in from out of town...and having a 8-10 hour bottle share nearly every damned night. I'm in dire need of a resupply. June will be here again more quickly than I care to imagine.
