If you are lucky enough to find it, and find it at that price. (at least in the northwest)

I always go with New Belgium Ranger IPA. A decent IPA for $12 a 12 pack.

Alaskan Amber is 9.99 a 12 pack at my local Rite Aid. Great craft beer to buy for parties where not everyone is a fan of craft.

I can't believe I forgot and that no one else mentioned Black Boss Porter at 2 bucks a pint, for what to me at least is one of my favorite brews, what could be better.

I was just about to suggest the same thing. 2 bucks for 500 ml, 9.4% ABV, tastes great. Only problem is I have trouble finding it.

really? I don't think I've ever been to a liquor store that didn't have it. If we get it in WI you should get it in IA. I would guess stores by you just aren't ordering it.

I guess that makes $3.49 seem like an even better deal. Time for a Hop Stoopid Hands New Years Party!

SD Costco's have Victory @ Sea for $6 a bottle right now. That's $72 a case, and about $30 less than it would cost you at the brewery. Good deal.

Really, no one is saying that westy 12 was a steal at $84? I mean, you got a glass after all.....

Korbinian is a great beer for $3.50/500mL. Avec les Bon Vouex is great at $10.

Hard to justify prices for great beers? I love bam, but $11 for a 750 of something with a starting gravity under 1.040, crystal hops, and 2 weeks in a barrel is tough.

North Coast - Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout
9% ABV highly cellarable, bottled year round, and easy to find
    $2.49 for 12oz. or $8.99 for 4 pack (12 oz.)

Hands down best value for a great beer to drink or put down in the cellar.

Yeah that depends upon an operational definition of delivery vis a vis chemicals and uptake...so snarky but semantically impotent.

Dominion Oak Barrel Stout. It's $8 a 6 pack, with more character and drinkability than some $8 bombers.

Picked up this years Brooklyn BCS today for $7.99/4.

That's the same price since '09 in my area while many others have gone up in price, some a little, some a lot. Kudos to Brooklyn for making this fantastic brew at this fantastic price.
