Tonight is my first time drinking this. Tasty, but I'm not sure it's worth the hype. Paired with a heady grilled cheese of Munster, extra sharp cheddar, and fresh avocado.

You're not the only one. I've tried it "Fresh" twice, both times it let me down. My last and final attempt will be on tap. However, as you mentioned, i'd take Head Hunter ANY DAY over Sculpin.

I'm not saying it's bad. But for the high ratings, the hype, and the jacked up West PA price, this is a huge let down. Even at 14.99, I wouldn't buy it again. From what I understand, the best by date is 120 out. This best by date is early May. So it's fresh. It's good, but I could buy dozens of IPAs that I enjoy more for half the price.

Started with a nugget nectar, had a ruthless with dinner, now onto my first eddy Fitz with a cherry almond muffin. Great beer, but fell short of my expectations.

Agreed. It's way too cold here in San Diego. Cheers, bud.

The only time I had it was back in 2008 and it was awesome back then, imho. I'm sorry the new stuff isn't hitting your palate right.

Its quite tasty. To the grilled cheese aficionados, I recommend adding avacado to your favorite cheese sandwich. Delicious.
