Had BB1 last night at the saucer. Only managed to choke down half the glass. Too boozy and harsh. I believe it needed some serious aging to hopefully mellow out. BRB. Gonna go light a $10 bill on fire.

Man.. I had to keep myself from drinking mine too quick.... and let it warm up a bit... which to me.. brought out more of the bourbon.. which made me even like it more... I still have a bottle in my fridge I'm saving for my birthday this year.

Well, that might fix part of the problem, but it really needs to be thicker to start out with. Common problem for St. Arnold's, all most all their beer that are styles that should have a thicker mouthfeel are too thin. Their Winter Stout is a good example. I loved Pumpkinator, but I certainly wouldn't have complained if it had a bit more substance.

I will also give you a yessir on this as well.

BB1 was too thin on the stout part, the bourbon completely overpowered the taste. A thicker pumpkinator would make it straight up World Class! I recall DR9 being thicker and man did I love that!

Brandon is notorious for stashing and later releasing. That's a good thing.

The question is, even with BB #1, why would anybody ever go to any Buffalo Wild Wings? Maybe even more important, who the hell added Buffalo Wild Wings to the Houston places page?

I had Hopadillo with my wings 2 days ago. A lot of BWW depends on the owner.

The BWW in Austin was all BMC last time I was there.

Pluckers, FTW! Love getting an outrageously huge mug of (512) IPA there.
