Have you tried the Sam Adams Double Agent IPL? If you like hops the IPL blows Whitewater and Latitude out of the water (IMO). 'Not sure what the availability is on this beer, I haven't really seen it around, though.

I know right.... I'll drink anything... I find myself drinking cheap beer almost as much as craft styles.... I'm all over the place...

My thoughts are that of yours. Not a drain-pour, as it's not awful, but "meh" is all I've got.

Mine was also a gift--part of a large Christmas haul given to me. I've been cranking through the mediocre brews whilst saving the better ones for last.

It's the beer if you're having more than one. Don't ya know. Personally. I miss it.

I gotta admit, the name is a bit of a turnoff and the concept seems gimmicky, but hot damn I got over that right quick with my first sniff. This is just like those chocolate-covered espresso beans, in liquid form. With booze. Very tasty- Salut!

I'll keep an eye out. It sounds familiar, as if I've seen it. Next time I hit Giant Eagle I'll look for it. Whitewater will be hard to top. Latitude...not so much.

Keeping it crisp and light for now. Likely moving on to some darker beers as the night progresses.

I found a pallet full of FBS and a 9 case stack out of this one. This one being a buck more at 66.99 a case. Is that a good deal??

If you like hops it's definitely worth trying if you can find it, just don't know what the shelf life will be. My In-Laws gave me a few for Christmas (he works for Sam Adams) and they were uber fresh, I usually don't get excited over their beer but this one was a definite keeper. (!) It's not often I can get my hop fix without breaking the ABV bank.
