Knock it off. Just tell us the guy's handle. Pretty sure I know who it is, but this isn't CSI, nobody's going to hunt the guy down, but for future reference...yeah.

That and what type of damages would be able to argue in court? He was out a $1,000 because no one would trade with him.

Like I said I hardly even esquire but maybe you could file a Motion to Compel Walez,Bro

ask for injunctive relief, for haterzz to raise up off your bottle limits, pray for equitable relief from the brewery to keep needle dicks from buying things from them

WITH ENOUGH BILLABLE HOURS THE POSSIBILITIES ARE LIMITLESS

    haha this has gotten ridiculus.

The bottom line is this. Limited bottle releases are always gonna generate some controversy. What that guy did was douchey to say the least. And Perennial will probably evolve their SOP whenever they release beers like this. They are good people that are gonna look after the local scene.

Perhaps if you buy beer on e*bay. There is no way that someone does something like this to get 60 bottles and then trades them. He is either selling them online or to a bar.

Yeah I saw two guys walk through the tasting, grab an unopened can (I think a Westbrook) fill up their gas station plastic mug and keep on walking. Classy

Guys I have a confession to make, the guy with the 16 mules was actually muling for me, I convinced him to drive down from Chicago and pick up a bunch of mules then mail me all the beer so I wouldn't have to drive to STL myself. Coordinated the whole thing from my apartment in Knoxville.

Yeah, the funny thing is I don't actually want the bottles and I'm not going to pay the guy for them, I just wanted to brag about it on facebook.

On a fun note, how does one text random people on the street?

As I just posted on RB -- I’m getting flashbacks to the last Cuvee de Castleton release, which was a catalyst for me to (almost) cease any kind of beer release related activity. Specifically, one long-standing RB/BA member, who is a typical 30’s bearded, overweight nerd, showed up with several young african american men, pulled them aside in the parking lot prior to "go time" and coached them on the logistics of the actual buying of bottles. This person loaded many cases into his car that day, and defended himself later by saying "those guys were my old friends" when I later questioned him about it. Most people, including myself got zero bottles that day, even those who showed up at 3AM without somehow "gaming" the system. That beer ended up being very mediocre...people are awesome.

when showing up over six hours early in the middle of the night in freezing temperatures isnt enough to get a bottle then you know something is going terribly wrong.

No...it's not true. Matt Rittenberg lives in Philadelphia...and wasn't even at the release. Where he got the picture he posted, I don't know. But he wasn't even at the release. He didn't get ONE bottle, much less 60+. You people will believe damn near anything you read on this forum. Way too easy to rile people up here. And no, I'm not defending his actions...just stating that this did not occur so people realize if they didn't get bottles, this is not the reason why.
