What's on your list to try?
    Besides say Citra or Pliny.

Is there a list of what will be pouring yet? Didn't see on on their (ancient-looking) website or on FB.

They don't usually post a list of who's pouring at these events until the day of.

Last year, this was my first "fest". I am going again this year since I feel I definitely got my money's worth. Lots of great IPAs to enjoy. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot, but go for the triple IPAs since those sell out first. I missed out on Citra and am hoping to try it. Just in case I am trading a Black Label for some in hopes I am not disappointed since black label is Only 2 per person and tasted AWESOME last year when I had it on tap at Drake's (smells like weed....in a great way). :-)

At last year's DIPA Fest there were about 15 "Triple IPA's" : Dogfish Head-- Burton Baton, Triple Rock--Rodger's Last Stand, Schmaltz--Bittersweet Lenny's RIPA to name a few. As stated above, the beer list is available the day of the fest. I have last year's list and am referring to it. Consider beer from El Toro Brewing, Boneyard, Grand Teton.

Excellent point. Last year there were 43 DIPA's. My money is on someone pouring the wrong beer.

Any one figure out the cost of admission? Is it really 50 and you get 10 pours? How big are the pours?

I think they're ~6oz. The glass you get is some weird, tall, conical thing (IIRC). The cost of admission varies per event but it should be around that. I think this one and the BA one are more expensive, the regular IPA fest is cheaper (and the wet hop is really just a bunch of stuff on draft).

Any idea if kids are allowed at the DIPA Festival? I went maybe 4 years ago and I vaguely remember seeing a stroller, but this was pre-children for me so I didn't pay much attention.

I'm pretty sure it's fine, but you can always just contact them.

I can ask, but I'm pretty sure it's frowned upon...unless its in the front seating area.
This event get pretty packed and wouldn't be fun playing bumper cars with your stroller.

They called Burton Baton and Lenny's RIPA triple IPAs??

Compare Hop Venom or Notorious from Boneyard to Younger (assuming they'll have those available.) Stuff from El Toro and Grand Teton aren't even in the same league.

Last year both Hop Venom and Notorious were present. The Triple IPA area was kind of a hodge podge bar that included PtY, Burton Baton and others. I'm not comparing El Toro and Grand Teton to PtY. I happen to like Grand Teton Lost Continent. As you know El Toro is somewhat local ~ 50 miles from Hayward. Someone wanted to try something different and maybe something else from the area, that's all.

El Toro's DIPA is pretty damn tasty, had some a few days back.

Having gone to the BA fest a few months ago and also having a 3 year old, I would caution against bringing your child. If it's anything like the BA fest, having a stroller there would be a huge PIA for everyone involved, yourself included. Not to mention it's kind of a drunken sh*t show later in the afternoon. Not really a place for kids in my opinion.

Would it be worth it to have a "Younger Sightings outside of RR" thread or is everyone going to keep these kind of appearances a secret?

I figured, they won't be coming along anyway. I've taken my kids to mellower beer events like the Linden Street Winter fest and its been fine, but a SFBW event, especially nowadays, is going to be a shit show. I think when I went to the DIPA festival 4-5 years ago it was actually somewhat mellow. Things have changed.
